[342] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatana) does not arise, does the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one there?
For those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the mind base does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the dhamma base does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, both the mind base does not arise for them there and the dhamma base does not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base does not arise, does the mind base not arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
