[754] For whomever the mind base (manāyatana) arises, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) cease for that one?

Or rather, for whomever the dhamma base will cease, does the mind base arise for that one?
— For all who are passing away, and for the mindless who are being reborn: their dhamma base will cease, but their mind base does not arise. For those with mind who are being reborn: their dhamma base will cease, and their mind base arises.
