[851] For whomever the truth of origin (samudaya-sacca) arose, did the truth of the path (magga-sacca) arise for him?
For those who have not made the breakthrough (anabhisametāvī), the truth of origin arose for them, but the truth of the path did not arise for them; for those who have made the breakthrough (abhisametāvī), for them both the truth of origin arose and the truth of the path arose.
Or, for whomever the truth of the path …?
