[883] For whomever, wherever, the truth of origin (samudayasacca) arises, has the truth of the path (maggasacca) arisen for that one there?
For those who have not attained realization (anabhisametāvī), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of craving (taṇhā), the truth of origin arises for them there, but the truth of the path has not arisen for them there. For those who have attained realization (abhisametāvī), at the moment of the arising of craving, both the truth of origin arises for them there and the truth of the path has arisen.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the truth of the path has arisen, does the truth of origin arise for that one there?
For those who have attained realization, at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of craving, while a mind (citta) dissociated from craving is occurring, the truth of the path has arisen for them there, but the truth of the path does not arise for them there. For those who have attained realization, at the moment of the arising of craving, both the truth of the path has arisen for them there and the truth of origin arises.
