[862] For whomever, wherever, the truth of origin (samudayasacca) has never arisen, has the truth of the path (maggasacca) never arisen for that one there?
Yes.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the truth of the path has never arisen, has the truth of origin never arisen for that one there?
For beings of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa) while the second unwholesome mind (citta) is occurring, [and] for those who have not made the breakthrough (anabhisametāvī), the truth of the path has never arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the truth of origin has never arisen for them there. For beings of the Pure Abodes while the second mind is occurring, [and] for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), for them there both the truth of the path has never arisen and the truth of origin has never arisen.
