[950] For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) does not cease, has the truth of the path (maggasacca) not ceased for that one?
For those who have realized [the truths] (abhisametāvin) — as they are being reborn and, in the course of existence (pavatta), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), and, in the immaterial plane (arūpa), at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the path and of fruition (phala) — the truth of suffering does not cease for them, yet it is not the case that the truth of the path has not ceased for them. For those who have not realized [the truths] — as they are being reborn and, in the course of existence, at the moment of the arising of mind — the truth of suffering does not cease for them, and the truth of the path has not ceased.
Or else, for whomever the truth of the path has not ceased, does the truth of suffering not cease for that one?
For those who have not realized [the truths] — as they are passing away and, in the course of existence, at the moment of the dissolution of mind — the truth of the path has not ceased for them, yet it is not the case that the truth of suffering does not cease for them. For those who have not realized [the truths] — as they are being reborn and, in the course of existence, at the moment of the arising of mind — the truth of the path has not ceased for them, and the truth of suffering does not cease.
