[951] For whomever the truth of origin (samudayasacca) does not cease, has the truth of the path (maggasacca) never ceased for that one?
For those who have penetrated (abhisametāvī) — at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of craving (taṇhā), or while a mind dissociated from craving (taṇhāvippayuttacitta) is occurring — and for those attained to cessation (nirodhasamāpanna): for these the truth of origin does not cease, yet it is not the case that for them the truth of the path has never ceased. For those who have not penetrated — at the moment of the arising of craving, or while a mind dissociated from craving is occurring — and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for these the truth of origin does not cease, and the truth of the path has never ceased.
Or rather, for whomever the truth of the path has never ceased, does the truth of origin not cease for that one?
For those who have not penetrated, at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of craving: for these the truth of the path has never ceased, yet it is not the case that for them the truth of origin does not cease. For those who have not penetrated [reading anabhisametāvīnaṃ; the printed Pali here has abhisametāvīnaṃ — see flag] — at the moment of the arising of craving, or while a mind dissociated from craving is occurring — and for non-percipient beings: for these the truth of the path has never ceased, and the truth of origin does not cease.
