[983] For whomever, wherever, the truth of origin (samudayasacca) has not ceased, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) not cease for that one, there? — For beings of the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), while the second mind (citta) is occurring, for them, there, the truth of origin has not ceased, but it is not the case that for them, there, the truth of the path will not cease. For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), for them, there, both the truth of origin has not ceased and the truth of the path will not cease.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the truth of the path will not cease, has the truth of origin not ceased for that one, there? — At the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the highest path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those worldlings (puthujjanā) who will not obtain the path, and for beings in the states of woe (āpāyikā), for them, there, the truth of the path will not cease, but it is not the case that for them, there, the truth of origin has not ceased. For the non-percipient beings, for them, there, both the truth of the path will not cease and the truth of origin has not ceased.
