[990] For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) did not arise, did the truth of origin (samudayasacca) cease for him? Yes (āmantā). Or for whomever the truth of origin … ? Yes. As the questions concerning the past have been analyzed in the section on arising (uppādavāra), so too in the arising-and-cessation [section] (uppādanirodha) both the forward order (anuloma) and the negative order (paccanīya) should be analyzed. ________________
