Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1002

[1002] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) will not arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there? For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), and for those women who, in that very state, will pass through some number of existences (bhava) and attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) — for these, there, the masculinity faculty will not arise, yet it is not the case that for these, there, the mind faculty will not arise. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — for these, there, the masculinity faculty will not arise and the mind faculty will not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will not arise, will the masculinity faculty not arise for that one there? Yes (āmantā).
