Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1001

[1001] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) will not arise, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) not arise for that one there? For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), for beings of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), and for those women who, having manifested some number of existences in that same state (bhāva), will be reborn with equanimity and attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) — for them, there, the masculinity faculty will not arise; but it is not the case that the equanimity faculty will not arise for them there. For beings in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), and for those women who, having manifested some number of existences in that same state, will be reborn with joy (somanassa) and attain final Nibbāna — for them, there, both the masculinity faculty will not arise and the equanimity faculty will not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty will not arise, will the masculinity faculty not arise for that one there? For those men who, having manifested some number of existences in that same state, will be reborn with joy and attain final Nibbāna — for them, there, the equanimity faculty will not arise; but it is not the case that the masculinity faculty will not arise for them there. For beings in their final existence, for non-percipient beings, and for those women who, having manifested some number of existences in that same state, will be reborn with joy and attain final Nibbāna — for them, there, both the equanimity faculty will not arise and the masculinity faculty will not arise.
