Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1040

[1040] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, did the life-faculty (jīvitindriya) arise for that one there? For those being reborn in the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), the eye-faculty arises for them there, but the life-faculty did not arise for them there. For the others with eyes who are being reborn, both the eye-faculty arises and the life-faculty arose for them there. Or: for whomever, wherever, the life-faculty arose, does the eye-faculty arise for that one there? For all who are passing away and for those without eyes who are being reborn, the life-faculty arose for them there, but the eye-faculty does not arise for them there. For those with eyes who are being reborn, both the life-faculty arose and the eye-faculty arises for them there.
