For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), and for non-women being reborn into the sense sphere, the masculinity faculty arose for them there, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For women being reborn, both the masculinity faculty arose for them there and the femininity faculty arises.
