[1129] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, will the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arise for that one there?
For final-existence (pacchimabhavika) females who are being reborn, and for those females who will pass through (dassetvā, lit. "display") some number of existences (bhava) in that very same [female] state and then attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) — for these, as they are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them there, but the masculinity faculty will not arise for them there. For the other females who are being reborn, both the femininity faculty arises for them there and the masculinity faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty will arise, does the femininity faculty arise for that one there?
For non-females who, passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), are being reborn into the sense sphere — for these, the masculinity faculty will arise for them there, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For females who are being reborn, both the masculinity faculty will arise for them there and the femininity faculty arises.
