[1092] For whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, will the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arise for that one?
For women in their final existence who are being reborn, and for those women who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna, and for those women who, in that very state, will pass through some number of existences and then attain final Nibbāna — as these are being reborn, for them the femininity faculty arises, but the masculinity faculty will not arise for them. For the other women who are being reborn, for them the femininity faculty arises and the masculinity faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the masculinity faculty will arise, does the femininity faculty arise for that one?
For all who are passing away and for non-women who are being reborn, for them the masculinity faculty will arise, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them. For women who are being reborn, for them the masculinity faculty will arise and the femininity faculty arises.
