Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1132

[1132] For whomever, and wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one there? For women in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn, and for those women who, having been reborn with joy (somanassa), will attain final Nibbāna — while these are being reborn: for them there the femininity faculty arises, but for them there the equanimity faculty will not arise. For the other women who are being reborn: for them there the femininity faculty arises, and the equanimity faculty will arise. Or, conversely, for whomever, and wherever, the equanimity faculty will arise, does the femininity faculty arise for that one there? For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for non-women being reborn into the sense sphere, and for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): for them there the equanimity faculty will arise, but for them there the femininity faculty does not arise. For women who are being reborn: for them there the equanimity faculty will arise, and the femininity faculty arises.
