[578] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, does the joy faculty (somanassindriya) arise for that one there?
For females being reborn without joy (somanassa), the femininity faculty arises for them there, but the joy faculty does not arise for them there. For females being reborn with joy, for them there both the femininity faculty arises and the joy faculty arises.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the joy faculty arises, does the femininity faculty arise for that one there?
For non-females being reborn with joy, the joy faculty arises for them there, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For females being reborn with joy, for them there both the joy faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises.
