[1202] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) does not arise, will the life faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one there?
For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for non-women being reborn into the sense sphere, for those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and for those of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara) — for them, there, the femininity faculty does not arise; but it is not the case that, for them, there, the life faculty will not arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, and for those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the form sphere and in the formless sphere — for them, there, the femininity faculty does not arise, and the life faculty will not arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the life faculty will not arise, does the femininity faculty not arise for that one there?
For women in their final existence who are being reborn — for them, there, the life faculty will not arise; but it is not the case that, for them, there, the femininity faculty does not arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, and for those in their final existence in the form sphere and in the formless sphere — for them, there, the life faculty will not arise, and the femininity faculty does not arise.
