[1235] For whomever the nose faculty (ghānindriya) has arisen, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), and for those who, having been reborn with joy (somanassa), will attain final Nibbāna, the nose faculty has arisen, but the equanimity faculty will not arise for them. For the others, both the nose faculty has arisen and the equanimity faculty will arise.
Or, for whomever the equanimity faculty will arise, has the nose faculty arisen for that one?
