[1258] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) arose, will the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) arise for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) and for those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara): for them, there, the eye-faculty arose, but the nose-faculty will not arise for them there. For the others of the sense sphere: for them, there, both the eye-faculty arose and the nose-faculty will arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the nose-faculty will arise, did the eye-faculty arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
