[1279] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arose, will the life faculty (jīvitindriya) arise for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), the masculinity faculty arose for them there, but the life faculty will not arise for them there. For the other sense-sphere beings, for them there both the masculinity faculty arose and the life faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life faculty will arise, did the masculinity faculty arise for that one there?
For those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and those of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the life faculty will arise for them there, but the masculinity faculty did not arise for them there. For those of the sense sphere, for them there both the life faculty will arise and the masculinity faculty arose.
