[1322] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) has not arisen, will the life faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one there?
For those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and those of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): for them there the masculinity faculty has not arisen, but it is not the case that for them there the life faculty will not arise. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the form sphere and in the formless sphere: for them there both the masculinity faculty has not arisen and the life faculty will not arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the life faculty will not arise, has the masculinity faculty not arisen for that one there?
For those in their final existence in the sensual sphere (kāmāvacara): for them there the life faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the masculinity faculty has not arisen. For those in their final existence in the form sphere and in the formless sphere: for them there both the life faculty will not arise and the masculinity faculty has not arisen.
