For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the masculinity faculty has never arisen for them there, yet it is not the case that the equanimity faculty has never arisen for them there. For beings of the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), both the masculinity faculty has never arisen for them there and the equanimity faculty has never arisen.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty has never arisen, has the masculinity faculty never arisen for that one there?
