[1278] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arose, will the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) … the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), the femininity faculty arose for them there, but the mind faculty will not arise for them there. For the other sense-sphere beings, both the femininity faculty arose for them there and the mind faculty will arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will arise, did the femininity faculty arise for that one there?
For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the mind faculty will arise for them there, but the femininity faculty did not arise for them there. For sense-sphere beings, both the mind faculty will arise for them there and the femininity faculty arose.
