Or rather, one who has abandoned the grief faculty — does that one fully understand the eye faculty?
Two persons have abandoned the grief faculty, yet they do not fully understand the eye faculty; the one endowed with the highest path (aggamagga) has both abandoned the grief faculty and fully understands the eye faculty.
