[255] For whomever wholesome (kusala) phenomena (dhammā) are ceasing, will indeterminate (abyākata) phenomena cease for that one?
Yes (āmantā).
Or rather, for whomever indeterminate phenomena will cease, are wholesome phenomena ceasing for that one?
For all [beings] at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), [and] at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of a mind dissociated from the wholesome, for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for these, indeterminate phenomena will cease, but wholesome phenomena are not ceasing for them. At the moment of dissolution of wholesome [phenomena], for these, both indeterminate phenomena will cease and wholesome phenomena are ceasing.
