[268] For whom wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) have ceased, will unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) cease for that one?
For those endowed with the supreme path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those who will obtain the supreme path in immediate succession to which mind (citta): for these, wholesome phenomena have ceased, but unwholesome phenomena will not cease for them. For the others, wholesome phenomena have ceased, and unwholesome phenomena will cease.
Or rather, for whom unwholesome phenomena will cease, have wholesome phenomena ceased for that one?
Yes (āmantā).
