Uppādanirodhavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 364

[364] For whom wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) have arisen, will unwholesome phenomena cease for that one? For those endowed with the supreme path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those who will obtain the supreme path in immediate succession to which mind (citta) — for them, wholesome phenomena have arisen, but it is not the case that unwholesome phenomena will cease for them. For the others, both wholesome phenomena have arisen and unwholesome phenomena will cease. Or, for whom unwholesome phenomena will cease, have wholesome phenomena arisen for that one? Yes.
