[320] For whomever unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) will arise, will indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) cease for him? — Yes.
Or rather, for whomever indeterminate phenomena will cease, will unwholesome phenomena arise for him? — For those endowed with the supreme path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those who will obtain the supreme path in immediate succession to [their present] mind (citta): for these, indeterminate phenomena will cease, but unwholesome phenomena will not arise for them. For the others, both indeterminate phenomena will cease and unwholesome phenomena will arise.
