[352] For whomever unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) arise, will indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) cease for that one?
Yes.
Or rather, for whomever indeterminate phenomena will cease, do unwholesome phenomena arise for that one?
For all [beings] at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind dissociated from the unwholesome (akusala-vippayutta-citta), for those who have attained cessation (nirodha-samāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for these, indeterminate phenomena will cease, but unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of unwholesome [phenomena], for these, indeterminate phenomena will cease and unwholesome phenomena also arise.
