[164] For whomever unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) arise, will indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) arise for that one?
Yes.
Or else, for whomever indeterminate phenomena will arise, do unwholesome phenomena arise for that one?
For all [beings] at the moment of the dissolution of mind (citta), and at the moment of the arising of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome (akusala-vippayutta-citta), for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) — for these, indeterminate phenomena will arise, but unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of unwholesome [phenomena], for these, both indeterminate phenomena will arise and unwholesome phenomena arise.
