[163] For whomever wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) arise, will indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) arise for that one?
Yes.
Or else, for whomever indeterminate phenomena will arise, do wholesome phenomena arise for that one?
For all (beings) at the moment of dissolution of mind (citta), at the moment of arising of a mind (citta) dissociated from the wholesome, for those attained to cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — for these, indeterminate phenomena will arise, but wholesome phenomena do not arise for them. At the moment of arising of the wholesome, for these, both indeterminate phenomena will arise and wholesome phenomena arise.
