[342] "For whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) arise, had indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) ceased for that one, there?"
"Yes (āmantā)."
"Or: for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena had ceased, do unwholesome phenomena arise for that one, there?"
"For all [beings] at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the mind (citta), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome (akusalavippayutta), and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for them, there, indeterminate phenomena had ceased, but unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there. At the moment of arising of the unwholesome, for them, there, both indeterminate phenomena had ceased and unwholesome phenomena arise."
