[341] For whomever, wherever, wholesome phenomena (dhammā) arise, have indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) ceased for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena have ceased, do wholesome phenomena arise for that one there?
For all [beings] at the moment of the dissolution of mind (citta), for [those] at the moment of the arising of a mind dissociated from the wholesome, and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for these, there, indeterminate phenomena have ceased, but wholesome phenomena do not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of the wholesome, for these, there, both indeterminate phenomena have ceased and wholesome phenomena arise.
