[425] Is that which is not man (purisa) not the masculinity faculty (purisindriya)? The masculinity faculty is not man, but it is the masculinity faculty; excluding man and the masculinity faculty, the rest are neither man nor the masculinity faculty. Is that which is not a faculty (indriya) not the eye faculty (cakkhundriya)? Yes. … Is that which is not man not the masculinity faculty? The masculinity faculty is not man, but it is the masculinity faculty; excluding man and the masculinity faculty, the rest are neither man nor the masculinity faculty. Is that which is not a faculty not the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)? Yes.
