Niddesavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 44

[44] Whose mind (citta) arises, does not cease — that one's mind will cease, will not arise? At the moment of arising of the final mind (pacchimacitta), their mind arises, does not cease; it will cease, will not arise. At the moment of arising of the mind of the others, their mind arises, does not cease; it will both cease and arise. Or rather, whose mind will cease, will not arise — that one's mind arises, does not cease? Yes. Whose mind does not arise, ceases — that one's mind will not cease, will arise? No. Or rather, whose mind will not cease, will arise — that one's mind does not arise, ceases? There is none.
