[468] Is that which is not the nose (ghāna) not a faculty (indriya)? Setting aside the nose, the remaining faculties are not the nose but are faculties; setting aside the nose and the faculties, the remaining are neither the nose nor faculties. Is that which is not a faculty not the eye faculty (cakkhundriya)? Yes. … Is that which is not the nose not a faculty? Setting aside the nose, the remaining faculties are not the nose but are faculties; setting aside the nose and the faculties, the remaining are neither the nose nor faculties. Is that which is not a faculty not the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)? Yes.
