[480] Is what is not faith (saddhā) not a faculty (indriya)? Excluding faith, the remaining faculties are not faith but are faculties; excluding faith and the faculties, the remainder are neither faith nor faculties. Is what is not a faculty not the eye faculty (cakkhundriya)? Yes. … Is what is not faith not a faculty? Excluding faith, the remaining faculties are not faith but are faculties; excluding faith and the faculties, the remainder are neither faith nor faculties. Is what is not a faculty not the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)? Yes.
