Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 509

[509] For whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, does the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one? For females who are being reborn without equanimity (upekkhā), the femininity faculty arises for them, but the equanimity faculty does not arise for them. For females who are being reborn with equanimity, for them both the femininity faculty arises and the equanimity faculty arises. Or rather, for whomever the equanimity faculty arises, does the femininity faculty arise for that one? For non-females who are being reborn with equanimity, the equanimity faculty arises for them, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them. For females who are being reborn with equanimity, for them both the equanimity faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises.
