[508] To whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, does the joy faculty (somanassindriya) arise to that one?
For women who are being reborn without joy (somanassa): to them the femininity faculty arises, but the joy faculty does not arise to them. For women who are being reborn with joy: to them both the femininity faculty arises and the joy faculty arises.
Or else, to whomever the joy faculty arises, does the femininity faculty arise to that one?
For those who are not women, who are being reborn with joy: to them the joy faculty arises, but the femininity faculty does not arise to them. For women who are being reborn with joy: to them both the joy faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises.
