[624] For whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) does not arise, does the joy faculty (somanassindriya) not arise for that one?
For non-females who are being reborn with joy (somanassa), the femininity faculty does not arise for them, but it is not that the joy faculty does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, and for non-females who are being reborn without joy, for them the femininity faculty does not arise and the joy faculty does not arise.
Or, for whomever the joy faculty does not arise, does the femininity faculty not arise for that one?
For females who are being reborn without joy, the joy faculty does not arise for them, but it is not that the femininity faculty does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, and for non-females who are being reborn without joy, for them the joy faculty does not arise and the femininity faculty does not arise.
