[1094] For whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, will the joy faculty (somanassindriya) arise for that one?
For women in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn, and for those women who, having been reborn with equanimity (upekkhā), will attain final Nibbāna — as these are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them, but the joy faculty will not arise for them. For the other women who are being reborn, both the femininity faculty arises for them and the joy faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the joy faculty will arise, does the femininity faculty arise for that one?
For all who are passing away, and for those who are not women who are being reborn — the joy faculty will arise for them, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them. For women who are being reborn, both the joy faculty will arise for them and the femininity faculty arises.
