Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 510

[510] For whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, does the faith faculty (saddhindriya) arise for that one? For women who are rootless (ahetuka) and are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them, but the faith faculty does not arise for them. For women who are with roots (sahetuka) and are being reborn, for them both the femininity faculty arises and the faith faculty arises. Or, on the other hand, for whomever the faith faculty arises, does the femininity faculty arise for that one? For those with roots who are not women and are being reborn, the faith faculty arises for them, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them. For women with roots who are being reborn, for them both the faith faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises.
