Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 580

[580] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arises, does the faith faculty (saddhindriya) arise for that one there? For females (itthī) without roots (ahetuka) who are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them there, but the faith faculty does not arise for them there. For females with roots (sahetuka) who are being reborn, both the femininity faculty arises and the faith faculty arises for them there. Or rather: for whomever, wherever, the faith faculty arises, does the femininity faculty arise for that one there? For non-females (na-itthī) with roots who are being reborn, the faith faculty arises for them there, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For females with roots who are being reborn, both the faith faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises for them there.
