In the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and in the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the nose faculty does not arise there, but it is not the case that the mind faculty does not arise there. Among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the nose faculty does not arise there and the mind faculty does not arise there.
Or alternatively, where the mind faculty does not arise, does the nose faculty not arise there?
