In the form sphere (rūpāvacara), the nose-faculty never arose there, yet it is not the case that the eye-faculty never arose there. In [the plane of] non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) and in the formless (arūpa) [plane], both the nose-faculty never arose there and the eye-faculty never arose there.
