[855] For whomever the femininity faculty (itthindriya) will arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for him? — Yes.
Or rather, for whomever the mind faculty will arise, will the femininity faculty arise for him? — Those who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), and those males (purisa) who will attain final Nibbāna after manifesting some number of existences (bhava) in that very state (bhāva): for them the mind faculty will arise, but the femininity faculty will not arise for them. For the others, both the mind faculty will arise and the femininity faculty will arise.
