[839] For whomever the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) will arise, will the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arise for that one?
Those who, having been reborn into the form sphere (rūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāyissanti), and those males who, in that very state (bhāva), having manifested some number of existences, will attain final Nibbāna — for these the eye-faculty will arise, but the femininity faculty will not arise for them. For the others, both the eye-faculty will arise and the femininity faculty will arise.
Or, for whomever the femininity faculty will arise, will the eye-faculty arise for that one?
Yes (āmantā).
