[871] Where the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) will arise, will the life faculty (jīvitindriya) arise there?
Yes (āmantā).
Or rather, where the life faculty will arise, will the eye faculty arise there?
In [the plane of] non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) and in the formless (arūpa) [plane], the life faculty will arise there, but the eye faculty will not arise there; in the five-constituent [plane] (pañcavokāra), there both the life faculty will arise and the eye faculty will arise.
