[939] For whomever the nose faculty (ghānindriya) will not arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one?
Those who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna — for them the nose faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that the mind faculty will not arise for them. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), both the nose faculty will not arise and the mind faculty will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever the mind faculty will not arise, will the nose faculty not arise for that one?
